I really don't get the point kf them fortnite should just focus on making the game better than adding ai that people only like because they look silly. Just my thoughts.

2022.01.24 19:08 Ferengsten Geralt's lack of grey morality
Does it bother anyone else that Geralt is effectively such a boy scout? W3 (deservedly) gets praise for its grey world, but while the world is grey, Geralt is really not. There is at no point any doubt in my mind that he will try to do the noble thing -- sometimes to a degree that borders on the ridiculous. There are at least two occasions where he has a big problem with stealing after having ended the life of dozens if not hundreds of people. Part if this is a video game trope, but even normal soldiers often have problems integrating back into civilized society -- while Geralt has decades of experience killing both monsters and humans to avoid starvation while also being shunned by almost everyone. I mean, witchers are essentially child soldiers, taken away from their families at infancy to be formed into perfect killers under sometimes horrific circumstances, while watching most of their comrades die. It seems amazing that the worst emotional scars this has left him with are a gruff exterior and mild annoyance at people's incompetence. As far as I can remember the worst things you can decide to do are deciding to kill some people that have obviously been portrayed as extremely amoral themselves. Geralt has no problems forming meaningful relationships, is patient, empathetic, warm and friendly with those he trusts , naturally helpful towards strangers, and (almost?) never undeservedly harsh, greedy or selfish. He is among the most moral people in his own world. Sometimes he comes across as almost naive and less hardened than the common street criminal. There is a scene in hearts of stone where Geralt is obviously bothered by>! the wild ones executing one of their own, which seems pretty ridiculous considering these are exactly the type of people he kills for breakfast.!<
For me the subversion of the cold killer for hire would work better if Geralt showed even hints of being a cold killer for hire in the first place. This is by the way something I like more in W2: In this game, Geralt seems a lot more driven by necessity, self interest and medieval thinking, like a respect for nobility. To some degree, W2 Geralt is more a character in his own world and W3 Geralt is more of a superhero, both in abilities and character.

2022.01.24 19:08 nyc6711 Obstacles - impact on score / score multiplier
Am I correct that Obstacles have no impact on score or the score multiplier and that they will only contribute to a "Fail"?
Thus, if No-Fail is on in Multiplayer, obstacles don't really impact anything at all if you don't avoid them? Maybe they should at least drop the Score Multiplier to 1 like missing a ball would do.

2022.01.24 19:08 FlipThis22 Dealing with rejection
I wanted to share my dating experiences with whom ever is having a hard time with theirs, and reassure that we (men) have control of how we receive rejection.
I personally don't give a shit. There's too many women out there for me to fuss about one.
But fucking a rejection always tastes better.
Hope this helps.

2022.01.24 19:08 Top_Crickety Just watched s1 episode 3... having a tough time getting through it. Does it get better?
The Picard in this series doesn't seem like the Picard of TNG at all. I know he's old... but it seems like this Picard is just way too emotionally soft.
Add in this all the little catch phrases ... like when he offers Earl Grey tea and says "engage". The cast within earshot gets all grinny like he said something cute.
Please tell me it gets better. Does he start to more resemble the Picard from the old series? Or is this an alternate world? Thanks.

2022.01.24 19:08 thapenguino Object masking isn't working
I did a few scans and it worked beautifully and now it just.. isn't. I have my object on a big white sheet of paper outside with soft lighting and I rotate and flip it a few times to get every angle. I have object masking toggled on but it doesn't seem to understand that I rotated it. It's giving me a sort of combination of all the angles jumbled into one piece, and the paper is still there included. It's basically like I didn't use object masking at all
I tried it multiple times. I did one where object masking is turned off and it gave me what looks like the same result. As far as I can tell, it just won't actually turn it on

2022.01.24 19:08 isabelacc Alcohol apps survey
Not sure if this is allowed but I am conducting a study for my undergraduate thesis to understand what factors are most important to individuals using apps to reduce alcohol consumption.
I believe this is very important to creating more accessible and cheaper options to help fight alcohol dependence.
It would be great if you could take 5 minutes to complete this survey, as it would allow app developers to take users' needs into consideration.
Your responses will be 100% anonymous.

2022.01.24 19:08 SnooSongs8791 UI Super Small on Cintiq Companion 2 BUT lines offset when I scale.
When I set my cintiq companion 2 up as an external monitor (read: a normal cintiq) for my PC, the UI of Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop is super tiny and difficult to use at that scale. If I choose to scale up in display settings, UI is perfect but my lines in sketchbook pro are completely offset (even though everything is calibrated) and it's unusable for that reason.
Any ideas how to fix this?

2022.01.24 19:08 nijiakas Which actors, if any, did you cast in your head when reading?
Sometimes I picture Triss as Elizabeth Olsen. Bonhart as Josh Brolin; Rience as the dude who played Bolton in GoT, they seem similarly bastardly; Eva Green for Yennefer, obvs; Geralt sometimes has a raspy Kevin Conroy's Batman voice, sometimes the voice from the game; Crispin Glover as Vilgefortz; and I know Mads Mikkelsen is somewhere out there, since he doesn't fully convince me as Geralt.
Who did you cast in your head?
